Plain-language summary

Your private Purrphecy profile and your Clouder publication are different records. Purrphecy does not turn a private cat profile into a social profile automatically. Before publishing, you review the exact outgoing snapshot and choose its visibility.

Private Purrphecy data

Cat profiles, household records, assessment answers, birth information, private journal or timeline items, saved readings, and other personal app data are stored locally and, when enabled by you, in your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit account. That private data is not a Clouder social record.

What Clouder receives

Clouder processes information needed to provide accounts and the community, including:

• provider account identifiers, sessions, device registrations, and security events;
• an approved cat name and any optional photo, pronouns, broad age band, or breed you elect to share;
• editorial personality bands, descriptors, sanitized constellation data, and opted-in Dispatch excerpts;
• follows, connections, reactions, comparison approvals and results, reports, blocks, achievements, and weekly-question responses;
• technical request data needed for security, rate limiting, reliability, and abuse prevention.

Clouder does not intentionally publish human identity, location, exact age or dates, birth information, raw assessment answers, source photos, precise trait scores, or follower counts.

Photos and moderation

Shared photos are decoded, bounded, stripped of embedded metadata, re-encoded, stored in private object storage, and held for moderation before public display. Authorized, short-lived links are used to deliver approved media. Reported names, photos, and bounded lore may be reviewed by an operator for safety and community-guideline enforcement.

Weekly community reports

Responses are attributed to an eligible cat for uniqueness and abuse prevention. Exact percentages appear only after at least 100 cat responses from 50 distinct accounts. Options with fewer than ten responses are suppressed. Final anonymous aggregate report snapshots may remain after an account is deleted, but the underlying attributable response is removed.

Service providers

Purrphecy may use Apple for sign-in, iCloud, and push notifications; Cloudflare for secure network routing and abuse protection; and a private S3-compatible storage service for approved community media. These providers process data under their own terms and only as needed for their role.

Website data

This website does not use advertising trackers or sell visitor data. The web server and Cloudflare may process IP address, request time, requested path, browser information, and security signals to deliver the site, rate-limit abuse, and investigate incidents. Application logs are designed to avoid cat names, photos, tokens, trait vectors, Dispatch text, and search queries.

Your choices

• choose Private, Connections-only, or Public visibility separately for each cat;
• pause automatic Dispatch sharing or revoke an individual shared item;
• change or remove reactions and weekly responses while allowed;
• unpublish a cat, block another account, request an export, or delete your Clouder account;
• delete private Purrphecy data separately from Clouder community data.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and community data while your Clouder account is active and as needed to provide the service, enforce safety rules, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and preserve security. Unpublishing removes the active remote profile and schedules associated media deletion. Account deletion removes publications, media, graph edges, reactions, attributable activity, comparisons, devices, sessions, and attributable community responses, subject to brief operational backup or job queues.

Children

Purrphecy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly create Clouder accounts for them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
